I am an addict for over a year … my anniversary was on aug 6…and I slowed down because I wanna change my life. And I have noticed my lower teeth chipping off and appearing longer. are these early signs of meth mouth? and will dentists know Im into meth? can my teeth stilll be saved? I wanna save my life from meth (Im doing it one step at a time) and can I save my teeth? I looked at the pics from the net bout meth mouth and mine does not look like those. they are still complete except that the lower teeth looks a bit longer. what can I do? I am quitting meth. I dont wanna fuck up anymore. can dental help prevent me from having the ugly meth mouth? I want serious answers. I’m 20 , female… If that matters.
and I use meth once a week now. But there was a month within this year that I used it a lot. about 3 to four times a week. But now its just once a week and sometimes none. I really do plan to stop. I wanna save my teeth. and Im having braces soon. will the dentist notice?
and yes my teeth are still white.

You’re very lucky! There is any easy way to prevent meth mouth: Stop doing meth. Find some help, go to NA or whatever, and kick the habit.

Then talk to a dentist about repairing the damage which has already been done.
