Crack Cocaine: Open Question: would you feel uneasy about this if you were in a homeless shelter with this woman?
OK..this woman came into the homeless women’s shelter last week and she was (is) my roomate. I thought she seemed cool . She is cool actually..only thing I don’t get is she was first checked in here last week cuz she has roommates shes trying to evict because they use drugs and are verbally abusive and intimidate her in her own home ETC. Well Last weekend she was suddenly gone form the shelter, now today (wed) she is back! I heard she got paid, and went to stay with a friend and now that she spent all her money on drugs she has no where to go again since the eviction of her roommates is not till next week. Um…first of all this place is supposed to be for people in DANGER at home . Second her adviser here KNOWS she went out and got wasted…at first she said no but I guess she caved cuz now shes here again. I just don’t think that’s fair.
*PS she did tell the advisor the FIRST time she was admitted in she has a problem with Crack Cocaine so she had to sign a contract saying she would not use if she stayed…she used…and now they let her back?
