Crack Cocaine: Open Question: Does anybody know the best method for a heroin home detox?
My best friend from childhood will be staying at my flat to try and get clean off her heroin and crack cocaine habit. She is near enough to her pharmacy to go everyday but does not want to wait to go to a clinic and is going to attempt to detox whilst at mine and then get herself on a day programme once clean.
Would like advice on the best way to detox at home from 70ml daily methadone (daily picked up from the pharmacy) and attempting to decrease dose little by little every day or couple of days. Would still have to therefore get up and out of the house every day to pick up medication but would spend most of the day then at home trying to abstain with eventual aim of total abstinence.
