can someone be addicted to Adderall.?
How do you know your addicted?
I’ve been doing that and other pills, and my friends have been telling me that I’m addicted to them, but I don’t think I am.
( I’m not prescribed to any of the pills I take, I just know how to get them.)

Well a good indication is your NOT prescribed them for one!
It’s very easy to get addicted to pills! Listen to your friends, they’re looking out for you. You don’t want to end up with violent mood swings, in rehab, or worse of all stomach bleeding and heart problems! I actually know people who started with pills and when that didn’t do the trick anymore moved on to harder drug like heroin! No joke!

As a college student, I’ve seen Adderall tossed about as though it were candy on Halloween night, especially around the times finals roll around.
The addiction that people develop towards adderall isn’t a physical addiction like that of cigarettes, cocaine, or heroin where the body physically craves the contents of the drug, but from what I gather is instead primary psychological.
When people (especially students and those without a prescription, although this is also true with those who actually need it) develop even a mild habit of using adderall, they become increasingly confident with their (typically academic) performance when they are on the drug. Because of this, as they continue to take it, they grow less and less confident with their abilities while they are not on the drug. It is an addiction similar to those who are awkward relying on alcohol to enhance their confidence in social situations or their social interaction as a whole.
As mentioned, this leads to a severe loss in confidence when not on the drug and can lead to it turning into a life-long habit. Not only is it illegal, but the side effects include high blood pressure, seizures, insomnia, depression, vomiting, and irregular heart beat! THOSE CAN KILL YOU.
