Question by future fate: Do young people realise that MORE people in the US will die this year from Prescription Drug abuse this year..?
…than from “Street” drugs?
That means Oxycontin, Zanex, and anti-depressants will kill MORE people this year than Heroin, Meth and Crack Cocaine! Try to wrap your mind around that statistic!
And just as many kids think it’s totally normal to take Exstacy on the weekeds, which can also cause long term memory loss, depression and even death due to heat stroke!
Party smart! Not stupid!!!
I’m talking about people taking these drugs off-label as party drugs, which is unfortunately very common these days since they are easier to buy than simple marijuana usually!
And for some reason people think they are safer since a Doctors name is on them or something – didn’t help Heath Ledger did it? He’s just as dead as if he had been a heroin junkie!
