Hep C Treatment and Using Drugs?

Question by Eric E: hep c treatment and using drugs?
My buddy has hep c and is going for pegetron treatment, the problem is he won’t stop using cocaine. If there is anybody who would know the consequences of this, please write here as he has been reseraching on yahoo questions and answers, and has been doing a whole lot of research on this treatment on the internet as well. So far nothing is really showing up using cocaine and doing this treatment at the same time and he is thinking it is ok to use drugs and have treatment. Thanks in advance for answers.

I attempted the combo, Interferon and Ribaviron treatment and it’s a bitch without using recreational drugs on top. If he uses cocaine while on treatment, there’s a much bigger risk of failure.
