Everyone wants me to see a therapist. But I really do not want my parents to know anything I say to them. Should I just wait to go until I am 18?

who is “everyone”? don’t shut your parents out of your life as you prepare for adulthood. surround yourself with loving and postive people. patients of all ages are entitled to privacy with their physicians.

your doctor has to tell other people if you have plans to hurt yourself or others other than that not without a lot of legal mess. you’re safe
