hey im doing a project for health class. we have to do a project on the risk’s of drugs and i chose cocaine. i know:
it’s addictive
can hurt your nose

i need to know some more things health wise on cocaine (not the legal punshments) can you help? thanks!!!

In addition to a hole right through your nasal septum (lovely, especially if you have a cold), it can cause heart attacks, elevated blood pressure which can lead to strokes, and really bad decision making with terrible consequences, whether it’s inappropriate sexual behavior or driving under its influence.

Cocaine in any injected form carries the usual dirty-needle risks like AIDS and the various forms of hepatitis.

Crack is by far the most addictive form of cocaine and in addition to inhaled cocaine’s risks, increases the likelihood of respiratory failure and heart attack, plus seizures and paranoid schizophrenia which may not self-resolve when the drug is out of the user’s system.
